Sherman Johnson Gets First Hit

The former Seminole had his break out game as a Major League player last night for the Orem Owlz.  Sherman Johnson was 3 for 5 with a run, three RBIs and also had two stolen bases.  Johnson came up to bat in the bottom of the third and got his first career hit on a hard hit double to right field.  He then stole third base and scored on an error by the Idaho Falls Chukars.  Johnson had a RBI single to right field in the fourth inning and in the fifth.  Then in the sixth he had a sacrifice fly to right field which scored a runner.

Although he got his first career hit in this game, Johnson had still been a major contributor to his team.
In the previous four games he had seven walks with three runs and a RBI.  After last nights game he has an on base percentage of .400 with only three hits.
