How The Seminoles Fared Week 10 Of The NFL

Mike Harris of the Jacksonville Jaguars received playing time again this week as the nickle corner.  He recorded three solo tackles filling in for the injured Rashean Mathis.

Anquan Boldin of the Baltimore Ravens had a very quite afternoon during their blowout win over the Oakland Raiders.  He caught four passes for a total of 38 yards.  Joe Flacco hit eight different wide receivers during the game.  Boldin has not caught a touchdown pass since week 1 and has only gone over 100 yards once this year and that was week 4.

Sebastian Janikowski of the Oakland Raiders was a perfect 2/2 on field goal attempts with a long of 47 yards.  He was also 2/2 on extra point attempts.

Tony Carter of the Denver Broncos did his best Superman impression in the endzone after he picked off Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers and returned it 40 yards to the house.  He also had two tackles, one solo and one assisted, and one pass deflection.  Since the injury to Tracy Porter he has had seven pass deflections, two interceptions and two touchdowns in four games.

Dekoda Watson of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a big day on special teams. He was able to block a punt that his teammate picked up and returned for a touchdown.  He also had two assisted tackles on special teams.

Kamerion Wimbley of the Tennessee Titans started at defensive end against the Miami Dolphins but did not have a tackle.

Christian Ponder of the Minnesota Vikings finally got back on track after three weeks of horrible performances.  Sunday he was 24/32 for 221 yards and two TDs.  His touchdown passes were for 3 yards and 20 yards.  Ponder was able to not turn the ball over and give division rivals the Detroit Lions extra opportunities.  The Vikings stuck to the run game to take pressure off of Ponder who was able to hit 10 different receivers including a long of 54 yards, his longest of the year.

Letroy Guion of the Minnesota Vikings was inactive with a foot injury.

Nigel Bradham of the Buffalo Bills made his fourth consecutive start Sunday in a loss to the Patriots.  He was held without a tackle for only the second time this season.

Shawn Powell of the Buffalo Bills had a pretty easy day compared to the last couple of weeks.  He only had to punt twice during the game for an average of 50 yards.

Garrison Sanborn of the Buffalo Bills was perfect on all of his snaps.

Patrick Robinson of the New Orleans Saints made two solo tackles and one assisted tackle during their win against the undefeated Atlanta Falcons.  This was only the second game of the year in which he did not have a pass deflection. Robinson had the duty of covering Julio Jones for much of the game who was held in check mostly only making four catches for 75 yards and no TDs.

Brodrick Bunkley of the New Orleans Saints had two total tackles during their win.

Chris Hope of the Atlanta Falcons played on special teams against the Saints but did not have a tackle.

Antone Smith of the Atlanta Falcons had one assisted tackle on special teams.

Antonio Cromartie of the New York Jets made four total tackles and had one pass deflection in their loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Leon Washington of the Seattle Seahawks had two rushes for -1 yards.  He also had one kickoff return for 17 yards and three punt returns for an average of 13 yards.

Ernie Sims of the Dallas Cowboys made his second start of the season against division rivals the Eagles.  He had a very productive day making four tackles on defense and one on special teams.  Sims  was able to get his first pass breakup of the season.  Since being signed three weeks ago he has been a spark to this defense racking up 16 total tackles.

Geno Hayes of the Chicago Bears was out on special teams but did not record a tackle.

Lawrence Timmons of the Pittsburgh Steelers was all over the field Monday night.  He made seven total tackles and had two pass breakups.  His biggest moment of the game came in overtime when he intercepted a pass from Matt Cassel and returned it 23 yards to the 5 yard line, and one play later the Steelers kicked a field goal to win the game.
