Sherman Johnson to the Angels
The Seminole's senior third baseman had an awesome run through the College World Series. Johnson was 7 for 17, .412 average, with five runs, three RBIs, two doubles, and one home-run all in the leadoff position. The tell all stat was base on balls where he drew four of them in the four games giving him an on base percentage of .524 for the tournament. In his four years at Florida State, three in which he was a starter, Johnson had 180 walks in 228 games. The Los Angeles Angels drafted him in the 14th round of this years draft and now he has signed and will head to play for their class A minor league club.
